Michelle Mayer received her BA in Music Education from Saint Xavier University in Chicago in 1981, and had been working in the Archdiocese of Chicago as an educator for 12 years. She was invited by the Archdiocese of Chicago to participate as a vocal instructor in the Church Cantor Program. Ms. Mayer now lives in Peoria, Illinois; she teaches privately and is actively sought after as a speaker, music director and conductor, and continues to perform professionally.
